Generally speaking, the chlorite powder is ground by the dark green aluminum-rich ore mined from the associated deposit of talc magnesite. It is grayish green and grayish white, and feels sticky and slippery with silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide as the main chemical components. Its abrasion, lubricity and chemical inertness are similar to those of talc, but its color is darker, thus, it is usually used instead of talc in industries that do not require whiteness to greatly reduce the cost of raw materials.
